Letter Downtown living: 'If you build it they will come' I was intrigued by your downtown living series. I've lived in areas where downtown areas were full of potential that went unrealized, usually on some sort of water front. My home town, after years of not paying attention to the abundant natural resources surrounding them, has begun to use it's geographic location to it's advantage with very good initial results. If you build it they will come! People are much more willing to explore areas closer to home in these uncertain and anxiety producing times. I hope you continue with your plans and I certainly hope that I hear more about them. At one point I had heard about housing that was to be built in the downtown area.
